In the ashes of Earth's final war, Captain Leizu and her lifelong android companion Mira voyage to the edge of known space in search of a firmware code that could save Mira from a scheduled memory wipe. Their destination: a long-lost Taiwanese colony ship drifting near Proxima Centauri.
